How I got caught in the middle of Donald Trump Jr. and Aubrey O’Day’s affair

As the Donald John Trump Jr. and Aubrey O’Day love affair slowly unravels in front of the worlds eyes, more and more individuals are finding themselves caught in the middle of this madness.

And i’m one of them.

O’Day was the lead in the all girl group Danity Kane (before getting fired on national TV by P. Diddy, back in 2008), she was on six seasons of MTV’s Making the band, and later went on to star on broadway, a slew of reality shows, including NBC’s the Celebrity Apprentice, which was hosted by President Donald Trump.

O’Day was a season five cast member, in 2012.

Initially, the worlds most hated blog guru, Perez Hilton, got word of this mess and broke the story. reported, “Like father, like son! Well-placed sources tell us that Donald Trump Jr. and his wife, Vanessa, have been having marriage troubles for many, many years. In fact, we’re told they almost broke up prior to her recent divorce filing because Don Jr. engaged in an extramarital relationship with Aubrey O’Day after she appeared on Celebrity Apprentice in 2012.”

When his story broke, of course the media ate it up, including myself.

Pay close attention, because this is where I come in.

The funny thing about this story is that O’Day has been dropping clear hints about the affair for many years.

Back in 2012, she released a remix of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used To Know”, the lyrics to the song are, “You said there was a reason for your pain, but you were scared to ruin your family’s name, your wife’s the only one glad we are over.”

A year later, in 2013, O’Day released an EP titled “Between Two Evils” and the very first track was titled “DJT”, which quickly brought up a red flag.

The song is a conversation between her and an unidentified man discussing the end of their relationship.

A screenshot of the conversation between O’Day and I in 2013.

In the song DJT, O’Day can be heard saying, “What made you stop believing in our world?” To which the man replies, “You know, I think, probably the loss of the other world. I’m torn between two worlds, both of which I wanted.”

On, Nov. 4, 2013, she hosted a Twitter Q&A and most of her fans asked nothing but basic questions, but my natural reporter and investigative instincts kicked in and asked, “What does DJT stand for?” To which O’Day replied, “The man I wrote the album about.”

So when the story broke, over five years after the affair and the telling music was released, BuzzFeed did some major investigating on O’Days social media time line, they dug up tweets dated all the way back to 2012 and 2013 and they came across my tweet.

I honesty didn’t even remember the tweet.

As a person in his mid twenties, many of my family, friends, and former colleagues are BuzzFeed readers, so on March 21, around 3 p.m., I was flooded with notifications that my tweet was featured on BuzzFeed and used as evidence to prove the alleged affair was true.

Who knows if the affair between Trump Jr. and O’Day is true or not, but one thing we do know is that her song DJT stands for Donald John Trump.

That’s my story on how I got caught in the middle of a love affair between the president’s son and a pop star and I didn’t even know it.
